This project has been developed as an acoustic surface capable of creating a sensitive sensation by touching. The surface is modular composed of several pieces, each one is rigid, thin, light and easily transportable. It is digitally conceived and designed, but the material creation is purely handmade. The aim was to explore the material properties of felt in a forming process using negative and positive molds to created and acoustic interior panel. Computational techniques were used to generated mold-forms which were made using CNC router. The goal was also to link craftmade and digital techniques realms in fabrication.
