Kodama is a dynamic work desk comprised of 14 pieces of 18mm plywood. There is no hardware and no tools needed for assembly. It's designed in the computer and cut with a CNC machine to fit perfectly together without any additional needs. This allows for extreme precision with the fit and finish, but also great flexibility with where it is made because of the simplified manufacturing process. This means smaller shipping distances and less logistical support (money in your pocket) and less consumption in terms of transportation (finding more sustainable ways of living). Furthermore, by making things simpler and more localized its much faster and easier to find multiple manufacturers who can produce Kodama.
